Health departments of Kazakhstan are conducting research into the new type of pneumonia virus, but they have yet to identify the virus or it’s source. Ayzhan Esmagambetova, chief sanitary officer, reportedly said the mortality rate from pneumonia has increased in June by four times in Kazakhstan. She said many people who have fallen ill were not diagnosed with COVID-19 so we are looking at another outbreak of a new kind of virus.
In Kazakhstan, at the moment there are about 53,021 cases of COVID-19 and 264 deaths from have been recorded by Covid19. Recently On Thursday, over 1,000 new COVID-19 cases were recorded.
President Tokayev said the nation was “in fact facing the second COVID-19 and new cases of pneumonia.
